At the helm is a world-renowned chef, and Charlie Trotter's undoubtedly gets more buzz than any other restaurant in Chicago. Most visitors fortunate enough to get a reservation admit that this is an experience they will not soon forget. Food is art at Trotter's, and each visit brings a completely new experience in imaginative cuisine and delightful presentation.
There are three daily degustation menus to choose from: the Grand Menu ($110), the Vegetable Menu ($90), and the Kitchen Table Menu (if you don't already have reservations for the Kitchen table, you're out of luck. There's only one kitchen table, and it's nearly impossible to get a reservation).
Pricey? Definitely. Boring? Never. The fanfare can be a bit much for some people, but most everyone admits that Trotter's delivers an unparalleled culinary experience.
