Synonymous with breakfast in the Windy City, Lou Mitchell's packs in tourists and old-time Chicagoans alike. Mitchell's menu is a roll call
of AM favorites, but diners invariably single out the juicy, cheese-filled omelets and the golden brown, piled-high pancakes. Regardless of your selection, all service is with a smile, that is, if you're lucky enough to find a seat. Sunday brunch is notoriously crowded, so much so that the good folks at Lou's serve complimentary homemade donut holes to their patient patrons. Also open for lunch until 3 PM daily.
